Registration

This TCG League Cup is for current league members. Each event can host a limit of 32 competitors. Players can register in-person or online starting two weeks prior to the tournament and registration is open until all spots have been reserved. Players who pay in advance are entered in a door prize drawing at the end of swiss rounds. In person registration on the day of the event will be available until all spots are filled. Players should arrive at 11:30 AM. Last call for registration is 11:50 AM.

Preparation

All that you need to compete is a 60-card deck that is in current Standard rotation in identical non-transparent sleeves, and a deck box. These decks will need to be checked by a Staff member, to ensure all cards and sleeves are tournament-legal before the tournament. A printed deck list is required for players not arriving prior to 11:30AM for deck check. Final deck changes must be made before 11:30 AM.

Competition

The first round starts at 12:00 PM, and the first match-ups are randomized by the tournament software. Swiss rounds are 30 minutes best-of-one, + 3 turns after time. Total rounds based on number of players. There can be up to 5 total rounds with no less than 3 rounds. Regardless of your standings, all players play ALL swiss rounds to receive prizing. Final elimination rounds for Top Cut will be 50 minutes best-of-3, +3 turns after time.

Prizing

1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place are determined by the final elimination rounds for Top Cut! First place in each division will receive a Cup Champion playmat and Top players earn Championship Points for the 2024 worlds series as well as store credit, or cash prizing. All players who participate in ALL swiss rounds will receive 2 Play! series packs and an additional pack from the newest Scarlet & Violet main set for each win with the first pack being your Play! Series prize pack.
